School shootings, not 2 words you want to hear on a regular basis, but we do. My name is Dylan and i am a U.S. Army veteran in the state of Florida. Amid the recent shootings and those of the past, I have had enough of it. We should not be sending our children to school, just to worry if they will be safe or not. This is a problem that no society should face, but sadly we do. And something needs to be done. That’s why I propose we come together to try and create legislation that gives capable military veterans the ability to serve their communities again, and protect our children from the growing problem of gun violence in schools. I myself was medically retired from the army in 2014, and still have a burning desire to serve my community in whatever capacity I am capable. So I am asking for every like minded citizen to sign this petition, and help get legislation to protect our kids, as well as give our vets purpose again, and creating jobs for them. I want to garner support to take to our state representative Kat Cammack so we can try and get some legislation in place that will keep our children safe.
