Change the dress code!

The Issue

The new dress code at Webster states that midriffs are not allowed in school. Dr. Irvin said that it applied to all genders; but it is mostly being targeted at woman. Midriffs are NOT a distraction and should not be included in the dress code. Showing part of your stomach has nothing to do with learning or paying attention in class. Worrying about what your wearing can cause anxiety when at school trying to learn. And because it is targeted to women who might wear a crop top or have a shorter shirt, it is seemingly a sexist dress code. By signing this petition you are helping change the dress code and making Webster a better place where everyone feels comfortable.
