Since the NTN revolution, there are only a few NTN boots available with Tech (Dynafit) toes, and all of those are in the weight range of 1700g. One of the reasons there are few telemarkers in the backcountry is due to the lack of availability of boots of a weight competitive with modern AT boots, and bootmakers don't see it as a viable option to invest in creating new boots with such a small market.

I've seen more than a few tech-tele'rs using old Scarpa F1 and F3 boots. So, why not petition Scarpa to fire up the old molds for another run of the F1 and/or F3 models, this time maybe even in Grilamid or Pebax instead of PU?!?!

The market is there, the tooling is in place, let's do it!
