We the people who occupy residency in the area of Augusta Road, North Estates Drive and District 25 demand the following:

•A traffic signal (red light) at the intersection of Augusta Rd. and North Estates Dr. Due to recent road construction the intersection has been widened, the entire design has been changed causing confusion and potential automobile collisions. A pedestrian death has also taken place recently which can also be attributed to the change of the intersection.

•Specified pedestrian crossing to ensure the safety of residents who cross the intersection to reach their destinations (convenience stores, bus stops, etc.)

•Sidewalks to ensure the safety of pedestrians while walking alongside Augusta Rd. It was suggested that sidewalks be installed beginning at White Horse Rd./Hwy 25 (291) to extend through the intersection of Old Augusta Rd. to avoid future accidents and fatalities.

•Bus stop on adjacent sides of the street to ensure pedestrian safety and avoid further accidents or fatalities.

*Street Lights to make streets safer at night for pedestrians.

We the people demand that the changes stated above be implented within 10 days of the date of this petition, beginning with the installation of a red light at the intersection of Augusta Rd. Crossover/North Estates Dr./Augusta Rd. We are tax paying, law abiding citizens who deserve and desire equal, non bias action to our request.
