We are wanting to offer another first time homeownership option to the community using section 8.  The potential tenants would need to come up with 3 percent of their own means for the down payment.  Section 8 would help with monthly costs for only so long for those who qualify.   This would expand homeownership to a new group of people that never thought it possible to raise their families for generations to come in a home they actually own.
