This petition is to convince the sanitarium health food company to stop using plastic bags inside their Weetbix products.

Each day thousands of animals are dying from us inconsiderate humans who just use something like a plastic bag or bottle once and then dispose of it without even taking the time to think about where it will end up, or even how long it will be around! This waste will probably then end up in the ocean where animals will get stuck in it or swallow it and die.

They could use a corn starch bag, a paper bag, or even no bag to save some of the 100 thousand marine animals dying each day from plastic pollution. This action would stop millions of Weetbix plastic bags from ending up in the ocean each year and killing our remaining sea creatures.

I would be grateful if you signed this petition as I will be sending it to the Sanitarium Health Food Company to hopefully convince them that plastic is not the way to go, and there are other alternatives that are much better for the environment and animals. This change would be amazing if it went ahead, please join me on this mission to save the planet.

We need to end this plastic war!
