TikTok’s new Scaled Live Rewards Program starting February 10, the revenue split between creators and the platform is under threat. Creators will only receive 40% of their live gift earnings upfront, with an additional 13% locked behind weekly missions creating unnecessary hurdles and taking away from what we deserve.

TikTok’s new system is unfair and puts unnecessary financial pressure on creators. Other platforms offer creators up to 70% of their earnings, making TikTok’s proposed changes seem out of step with what creators should be receiving for our hard work.

We are asking TikTok to keep the current 50/50 revenue split or provide a more equitable split that reflects our contributions to the platform’s success. Creators are the backbone of TikTok, and it’s time the platform recognizes our value.

Sign this petition to stand with creators and ensure TikTok Live remains a place where we can thrive and be fairly compensated from the gifts sent by supporters.

Updates: Big news! A TikTok employee reached out and thanked me for bringing our concerns to the table with clear communication and respect. Apparently, some of y’all have been voicing your concerns with attitudes, but I’ve been making sure the TikTok managers hear us loud and clear respectfully, they’re just the messengers. They are willing to help present our concerns to the larger team and leadership.
