I am a registered voter residing in Ward II and I am writing to state my opposition to the group home zoning request at 1701 Stuart Ave presently pending before the board.  A group home at this site will lower my property value, increase traffic and change the character of my neighborhood from private residences to commercial businesses.  If the planning committee approves this re-zoning request, I hope you will vote NO when it reaches the City Commission.  I hope you will always work to encourage private residence ownership and not to discourage it by turning quiet neighborhoods like mine into commercial zones.
