I see that the Commissioners  of Northumberland and Dauphin Counties of Pennsylvania have decided to raise property taxes for our already impoverished citizens. We are talking about a 20 % increase for Northumberland Countyand a 21.8 % increase to  Dauphin County citizens. Most of our community is elderly and lives off 1 paycheck a month. What I see happening…is our citizens losing their homes due to foreclosure. I believe this to be morally wrong for a people that have already been heavily financially burdened with increased regulations and control. I believe the issue of increasing taxes should be brought up to our Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
