Petition Title: Demand Transparency: Say NO to Luis Elizondo or For-Profit "Influencers" as UAP Czar

To: The Executive Office of the President, the Department of Defense, and the Congressional Intelligence and Oversight Committees

We, the undersigned members of the scientific, investigative, and aerospace communities—alongside dedicated citizens advocating for genuine UAP transparency—strongly urge the administration not to appoint Luis Elizondo, or any individual tied to commercialized UAP media entities, to the position of "UAP Czar" or any senior oversight role within federal UAP governance. 

True disclosure requires rigorous scientific methodology, strict data analysis, and unassailable transparency. Appointing an individual whose career is rooted in commercial entertainment, unverified claims, and data misidentification would severely undermine the credibility of national security investigations and scientific inquiry.

We urge the administration to reject these candidates based on a clear track record of critical analytical failures:

* Gross Data Misidentification & Poor Vetting: A UAP leadership role requires elite forensic and analytical competency. Mr. Elizondo has repeatedly demonstrated a failure to properly vet basic data before presenting it to the public. This includes presenting a viral photograph of a window reflection of a chandelier in Romania as a "mothership," and a separate commercial pilot's photograph of standard agricultural center-pivot irrigation circles as a 1,000-foot-wide anomalous craft. 
* Inability to Identify FLIR1, Gimbal, and GoFast: While Mr. Elizondo leveraged the 2004 Nimitz (FLIR1), Theodore Roosevelt (Gimbal), and GoFast military sensor videos to achieve international prominence, he and his associated organizations failed to provide definitive, physics-based, or conclusive data analysis on what these objects actually were—leaving them as ambiguous tools for public speculation rather than solved forensic cases.
* Commercialization and Conflict of Interest: Mr. Elizondo transitioned from government service directly into To The Stars Academy (TTSA), a public benefit corporation explicitly designed to monetize UAP entertainment, media, and unproven technologies. This blend of government credentialing with for-profit enterprise represents a significant conflict of interest, transforming a serious national security matter into commercialized "grift."
* Lack of Digital Transparency: Serious public servants communicate through official, verified channels. Concerns have repeatedly been raised regarding online transparency, including documented links to unverified or anonymous "sock puppet" accounts on X (formerly Twitter), such as the "Faceless Bureaucrat" persona, used to control narratives and engage in non-transparent public relations.
* Unsubstantiated and Non-Falsifiable Claims: Beyond these documented incidents, a significant portion of Mr. Elizondo’s public platform relies on sensationalized, non-falsifiable claims regarding exotic materials, biological effects, and government conspiracies that lack empirical, peer-reviewed backing or verifiable data.

Our Demand
The position of UAP Czar must not be a reward for media visibility or speculative entertainment. We demand that any individual appointed to lead federal UAP investigations or policy be a neutral, data-driven, and credentialed scientific or intelligence professional with a proven commitment to falsifiability, raw data analysis, and absolute integrity—entirely independent of the commercial UAP media circuit.
