Say NO to Industrial Park on Little East Neck Road!

Say NO to Industrial Park on Little East Neck Road!
The Issue
Did you know the Town of Babylon wants to break ground July 2025 on a massive industrial park STEPS from the quiet residential neighborhoods of East Farmingdale, Strathmore Hills, Wheatley Heights, and Wyandanch?
This FIVE YEAR construction project by a San Francisco company, Bristol Group, will DESTROY our communities, our health, our property values, and our peaceful way of life. The Town is planning to REZONE this area permanently, so there is no going back.
Traffic will be backlogged down Colonial Springs Road, Conklin Street/Long Island Avenue, Little East Neck Road, Ruland Road, Straight Path, and Wellwood Avenue.
The industrial park will include 380 truck bays, 1,980 parking spaces, and take up over 100 acres of what is now forested land. This industrial park is TOO MASSIVE for our small communities and DOES NOT BELONG HERE.
Please call town supervisors Rich Schaffer of Babylon and Edmund Smyth of Huntington — and tell them NO! Make your voices heard or we will be inundated with trucks, displaced wildlife, construction noise, and countless other disruptions to our quality of life.
RICH SCHAFFER: 631-957-3072
EDMUND SMYTH: 631-351-3000
