Hello,

Monday, June 29th was the first day of early voting and you may be heading to the polls.  If this is you and you value your license, it is imperative that you keep your industry that is under attack in mind. Republican Senator John Cornyn and Democratic Senator Royce West has a record of voting and sponsoring legislation bills that have deregulated licenses within the industry. It is their votes that have assisted in eliminating licenses and belittling the education that is imperative for industry professionals obtain.  It's time for CHANGE!

On another note, the Texas COVID-19 cases are on the rise and so is the uncertainty.  If you did not file for unemployment during the time you were off work I want to encourage you to file a claim for the time that you were off as you were elgible and maybe elgible for back pay dated back to March 15 under the Cares Act.  Review/Apply here: https://www.twc.texas.gov/

Today is the deadline date for the Paycheck Protection Program.  If you did not apply for this loan program, I encourage you to apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) which includes a forgiveable advancement loan up to $10,000.  Do not let the word "LOAN" detour you from applying as the advancement loan is given regardless of approval or denial.  All booth renters should take advantage of this available assistance because your booth rent is forgivable.
