HB 2843 is in immediate need of your signatures and voice! Cosmetoligist entering the workforce should be educated properly and not rushed through schooling! Cosmetoligist are educated in so many areas that are critically important to demonstrating proper safety and sanitation and practical practices.

Call the representatives and let them know that you oppose HB 2843 which is the reduction of Cosmetologist hours and that the approval of HB 2843 would mean Texas representatives supports short term education that is the pathway to under qualified Cosmetologist entering the Texas workforce.
Texas Cosmetology students deserve a quality education that will properly prepare them as hireable licensed Cosmetologist and the public reserves the right to have qualified licensed professionals servicing them.
