The Memo

Dear Supporter,

There was no scheduled hearing for HB 1705 on last week however, Representative Matt Shaheen issued a memo and you may reach out to his office for your copy to review.

As of today's date, HB 1705 remains active and the Barber and Cosmetology industry professionals and consumers should continue the efforts and monitor HB 1705 until it has officially been withdrawn and posted on the Texas Legislature website.  We should continue to focus on the Cosmetology spin off bills HB 2444 and SB 1507 by stressing the importance of Cosmetology education and fighting to "Kill The Bills".
