We, the undersigned citizens of Betterton, Maryland and surrounding area, do not want Halo Solar to build a solar farm in our little town of Betterton.  The proposed site is less than ten feet from the boundary of our U.S. National Register of Historic Places district, which encompasses most of our quaint town with its pervasive Victorian architecture. The site also borders the Kent County designated historical site Ellwood Farm.  The site is used as a helicopter landing for emergency services. This site is will face homes on three sides!  Again, we, the undersigned citizens, do not want the solar farm within our town limits.
