The Trump administration is pushing for a $1.5 trillion Pentagon budget, including a $445 billion increase in military spending.

At the same time, it is proposing cuts to healthcare, housing, and essential programs that millions of Americans rely on.

This means:

Less funding for medical research and healthcare
Cuts to housing and affordability programs
Reduced support for working families already struggling with rising costs
While Americans face higher rent, healthcare bills, and everyday expenses, this plan prioritizes massive military expansion over basic needs.

The United States already spends more on its military than the next several countries combined.

We should not be cutting support for families to fund more war spending.

We call on:

U.S. Congress
to reject this Pentagon expansion and protect funding for healthcare, housing, and essential services.
