I would like to invite you to attend a presentation by Wendy Howard and Nicole Allen titled "Is Opt-In the Future of 'Inclusive Access'?" This online presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 28th, from 12 to 1 pm in the Theater of the Student’s Center.
During the presentation, an alternative to the mandatory inclusion of students in Automatic Textbook Billing will be discussed. This presentation will focus on what is happening at the University of Central Florida. At UCF, students have the option to Opt-In. When Barnes & Noble attempted to enforce an Opt-Out option, students pushed back.
