Dear concerned community member

You are receiving this email because you have signed a petition opposing the building of a biofuel plant by Taurus (formerly Andion) and the Semiahmoo First Nation in South Surrey.

Although the Federal government have withdrawn their financial support for this project and the permit application has been paused, it is far from being resolved. Until the permit to pollute is completely denied we will continue to do everything we can to oppose the plant.

We would like to ask all of you with health issues that may be negatively impacted by the resultant pollution from this proposed plant, to forward this email to cleanairwr.s@gmail.com.  By forwarding this email to Clean Air Alliance, you will be confirming that you and/or family members, are concerned citizens and are: 

- Concerned that members of your family, who suffer from underlying health conditions, will be adversely affected by the air pollution if the permit to pollute is approved.

- Give permission for Clean Air Alliance to use this information for the purpose of trying to stop the permit to pollute from being issued and, if necessary to appeal the permit if it does get issued.

In the subject line of the email please indicate the nearest crossroads of where you live and the number of people in your household that could be potentially affected.
