Recently, a group of local curlers from the Windsor-Essex area came out in full force to welcome home Gold Medalist Phil Daniel.
Phil has been curling throughout the various curling clubs in Windsor-Essex area, including Roseland. He recently won the Gold Medal at the Seniors Mixed Doubles and was tapped to be part of the Canadian Men's Seniors rink that competed in South Korea.
On April 29th, both the Men and the Women's teams secured Gold Medals over Scotland. On May 4th, Phil was treated to a hero's welcome at Windsor Regional Airport.
The curling community is anything but supportive and proud of their fellow members. This is why we're doing what we're doing, to support this amazing community and ensure it has a place in the City of Windsor for future curling generations to come
