Families for Manly attended the Manly Community Forum Meeting last night and has also been in touch with the CEO , Councillors Bingham ( and through Candy - Cr Grattan and Daley who are Manly Ward Councillors) , along with Councillors Sprott and Walton. All these people have expressed a commitment to helping residents develop a fairer outcome for parking for the Manly and of course for all new schemes across the Northern Beaches. We have recieved the note below from Sarah Grattan. this morning. We thank the Councillors and the CEO for listening and we now await the next iteration of the Framework which we understand will be fairer and more workable.
Families for Manly will continue to work with Council to refine.
However this petition will remain open until the final fairer Framework is voted on by Councillors and the Traffic Committee. I will update the petition details above as well.

Following the Manly Community Forum meeting tonight (Monday 21 October) I have spoken to the CEO this evening and he has agreed that the proposed revisions to the Manly Parking Scheme (following the exhibition and collation of community feedback), will be placed back on exhibition for another 28 days for further community consultation before it being reported to Council. This will be available on the your say website from next week and those residents that have registered or made a submission will be notified directly.
