Save Yandere Simulator: Transfer Yandere Simulator Development to a New Team

The Issue

Hello, my name is Augusto, and today I come with a petition to SAVE Yandere Simulator. This petition, as the title states, aims to give this amazing game to a new development team. This is due to the multiple controversies surrounding the current developer and creator, YandereDev, particularly the nine years of game development and the most recent one. I won't dwell on the details, as most of us are likely familiar with what happened.

First, I'd like to share an important story for this petition. TinyBuild, a video game developer, attempted to form an alliance with YandereDev, which ultimately ended badly. He later stated on the game's development blog that he could be open to giving the game to another developer, which aligns with our desired outcome.

The new development team would need to follow certain guidelines for game release:

  1. Do not destroy the game: This refers to maintaining active development without completely changing or cancelling it. Do not change the game's defining characteristics: This means preserving the main characters, mechanics, etc.
  2. Do not alter the main storyline: This covers things like the 80s events, the Saikou family, and the overall narrative. However, adding missing elements and new content is permissible.
  3. Continue offering the free demo until the majority of the game is ready: This is self-explanatory.

If this petition succeeds, we could finally witness rapid development of the game. Yandere Simulator would no longer be known for controversies but for its engaging development and overall quality. Additionally, the possibility of returning or new voice actors would enhance the experience.

By signing this petition, you demonstrate your support for a leadership change that could safeguard our beloved game from further controversies and ensure its completion as envisioned by fans worldwide. Sign now if you believe in giving Yandere Simulator the chance it deserves under new management!
