In a BBC news item filmed in July and August, Age UK say that the covenant doesn’t place any specific obligations on them as a charity.

Item 5 of the covenant pictured above couldn’t be more specific.

“Not to use the property…. For any other purpose than as a residential home for old people…. Nor for any trade or business purpose whatsoever”

That is a legal obligation Age UK.

Is Paul Farmer CEO running a charity that respects donors’ wishes or is he a commercial landlord indulging in some property speculation

Question for Paul Farmer and his gang of thieves: “How much of Age UK’s charitable funds are going on lawyers fees to overturn the covenant put in place to stop just such an action  as you are now doing?”

Age UK are abusing their position of power, against the residents, against the people of Salcombe  and the  thousands who have signed this petition, commented online and worst of all Miss Jennings and her family.

Age UK are using charitable funds to deliberately misinterpret the intention behind the original gift. Shameful.

They say it is to suit their own wider charitable aim. What a handy line that is. Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Age UK have already shown utter contempt for the wishes of the donor. They used Woodcot as security for their pension fund. A clear breach of the covenant.

Age UK are now so rich they are unstoppable.

Age UK confirmed there were a number of "restrictive covenants" attached to the property and said it had sought legal advice.

"These do apply to us as a question of property law but they are for the benefit of two neighbouring properties, rather than being for the wider community or creating specific obligations on us as a charity," the spokesperson added.

"We do intend to discuss some aspects of those covenants with our neighbours”.
