There are documents from British Rail that states the site should never be sold for housing. This come to light whilst doing a lot of research into asbestos on the site, The BR sold the site in 1994/5 The documents stated the site is not fit for housing and should not be sold off for housing. Why are the council not aware of this? this is a big question and why are the owners of the site pushing so much for the demolition of the site for housing surely they should have these documents too?
