West Palm Beach residents deserve a transparent, public process before major decisions are made that could permanently reshape our downtown, waterfront, traffic patterns, infrastructure, and local character.

West Palm Beach can grow without losing the character, accessibility, and livability that make this city special. Growth should be thoughtful, responsible, transparent, and based on facts. It should not be rushed through before residents understand the consequences.

This is about the future of West Palm Beach.

We are asking the City of West Palm Beach to:

1. Pause the Downtown Master Plan Update
No final vote should take place until independent traffic, infrastructure, parking, water, sewer, and environmental impact studies are completed and made available to the public.

2. Do not hold major public hearings during the summer months
Thousands of West Palm Beach residents are away during June, July, and August. Decisions of this magnitude should not be advanced when a large portion of the community is unable to participate.

3. Protect Flagler Drive and the public waterfront
Any permanent closure, rerouting, narrowing, or elimination of any portion of Flagler Drive must be fully transparent, publicly debated, and reviewed with proper traffic and emergency-access analysis.

Please sign this petition to urge the Mayor and City Commissioners to pause the Downtown Master Plan Update, release independent studies, protect Flagler Drive, and give residents a real voice before any final decisions are made.

We also encourage residents to contact the Mayor and City Commissioners directly and respectfully share their views on the Downtown Master Plan Update. Public input matters, and elected officials should hear from the residents they represent.
