We, the petitioners, totally oppose the proposed development on community land on the Weymouth foreshore.

The proposal has no social license and was instigated without the support or knowledge of a majority of shack owners or residents.

The proposed "redevelopment "will diminish the natural ecological diversity of the area.

We object on economic, environmental, cultural, ethical, and governance grounds.
