But they just won't learn their lesson and leave the Sunshine Ordinance alone.

Tuesday April 12th, agenda item 2.10 is the second reading of their attempt to reduce the advanced notification period for city council meeting agendas from 12 days to 7. We've made some progress! Last year they wanted to slash the number of days down to the Brown Act's requirement for three days (with the promise that, in practice, it would *usually* be five).

A number of you stood up, and they pulled the second reading of their attempt to outright repeal the Sunshine Ordinance last time.

But, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. And if they slash it to seven, it will only be a matter of time till they try to slash it further.

If know anyone who hasn't already signed the petition to save the Sunshine Ordinance, please have them do so here: https://chng.it/YM595cTC

Come and make a comment in person if you're able.
