In recent past the strays "Our Community dogs" have been brutally & cruelly targeted.

 

The local bodies responsible for their welfare and care have miserably failed. 

 

1. The commencing of ABC rules is down to the drains. 

 

2. The strays have been relocated as a result of which the dogs behave erratic. The number of dog bite & dog attack cases have increased. In a new area the get scared.

 

3. Education pertaining to how to survive a dog attack or avoid such attacks is Zero.

 

4. Education pertaining to the animal - human conflict is Zero.

 

5. Support & help from animal friendly individual's & groups is available,but no one is listening.

 

Now, after the death of a 7month old baby, everybody is awakened. Mr. Collector issued orders to remove the strays from the streets with immediate effect.

 

This petition is to request for your support for the following-

1. Withdrawal of the orders by Mr. Collector as it is a disastrous decision for the entire ecosystem and for civilized society. The society has a free watch dog at present,guarding it's people.

2. Meeting individual animal activists or groups to stop the conflict.

3. Opening of government owned shelters for strays.

4. State wide vaccination drive in proper & humane way.

5. Removal of irresponsible & corrupt officials.

6. Appointing area wise or Zone animal friendly individual's who can take care of their specific areas in order to resolve the issue.

7. Availability of government officials or department all days to hel the assigned zone individual's.

8. Stop the one sided story to be published in Media.

9. Media houses to behave responsibly and in a neutral manner.

 

Peaceful co-existence is the Motto and the need of the future.
