More than 5000 signatures! The word is out, momentum is building. But this is only the beginning. Petitions work but only if there are a huge number of signatures.  Thank you for signing - it helps more than you know - but we need many, many more names. Please keep sharing. People often need a reminder to sign, they're busy, they forget, so please share and gently remind them how important the State Library is. And always ask them to share the petition after they've signed.

In other good news the CPSU, the union that represents the library staff, are organising a rally. The date has not been set yet but stay tuned for the details.
