Wow! The petition to save the State Library of Victoria has only just begun and we already have almost 1500 signatures!

That is a .magnificent start.

Now it is time to really push it. If we collect lots of signatures in a few days that will tell the State Government how appalled we are by the attacks on our state library. Don't stop sharing - it's easy to forget to sign, no matter how much someone means to. Everyone needs a reminder. Just gently remind anyone you know who hasn't signed how importent this is and how easy it is to sign and share 

Also remember that sharing is as Important as signing. Always share with a short sentence so people can quickly discern what the petition is about. And share on every social media platform you can. I am so angry about this issue that I am actually rejoining X/Twitter, despite loathing the bloody thing.
