Good Afternoon everyone, this will be a shorter update conpared to the previous ones! This will mostly focus on some new information we got relating to the vote timeline and important dates we need to look out for!
In regards to the City of Cape Coral and their decision making timeline, they do not have a scheduled vote on the Sands Blvd issue this month!! So that means we can breath a very tiny breath of fresh air, because the City has not moved their timeline for a decision up that fast! We do have some information however to share!
The City will be specifically discussing the Sands Blvd issue on May 28th and 9:00 AM, so this date has become our important and relevant date to show up and make our voices heard! However, the City is still having a general council meeting the 21st at 5:00 PM, which will also be another time to speak on this issue even if they aren't specifically discussing the Sands Blvd Bridge. So a recap,
May 28th, 9:00 AM is the day the Council will be talking about the Sands Blvd Bridge specifically and will become an important date going forward! May 21st at 5:00 PM is a general council meeting, which is important to show up and talk about this issue but it is no longer the main date we need to show up to.
