The new principal for our school is trying to cut the pep rallies in half due to it being “distracting” to our learning. Pep rallies are a staple of Richland high-school and bring school spirit/ show case some of the amazing talent of our school.

Does this affect me?

yes, it doesn’t matter if you aren’t in football, many other activities such as, drill, cheer, and band get shines light on our hard work. Even if you aren’t an any of those listed above pep rallies still help bring the school together. 
 
By signing this petition it helps us let our voices be heard by the administration and let them know that we are serious about not wanting this change to be done. Richland highschool is known for its pep rallies and school spirit and with such an amazing football season last year why would we stop that now?
