📣 CANN0CK VOTERS 📣
More than 20,000 residents stood together to petition for the future of Cannock’s cultural venues — yet many feel those voices were ultimately ignored. Requests for transparency, including Freedom of Information enquiries, have gone unanswered, and concerns raised by the community have often been dismissed or overlooked.
The decision to close the Prince of Wales Theatre and the Cannock Chase Museum, made under the current Labour administration, continues to leave a lasting impact. Walking through the town centre today, the sense of decline is hard to miss. Spaces once filled with culture, entertainment, and community energy now feel noticeably absent. Nightlife has reduced, opportunities for the arts have diminished, and the vibrancy of the town has taken a hit. ❌❌❌
This is not about claiming any single political party holds the solution — but it is about accountability. Anyone seeking to represent this district should recognise that residents are paying attention and expect to be heard.
At its core, a community deserves representation that listens, engages, and respects the people it serves — not leadership that dismisses them.
If you care about the future of your town, you need to vote.
