Word is circulating that the Powhatan School Board is planning to vote tonight on whether to sue the county's Board of Supervisors over the school board's planned demolition of Pocahontas buildings. The agenda shows a closed session item, referenced in line 2F and 7D, regarding "Disposition of the Pocahontas Landmark Center". It appears the body may vote on this item once they reconvene in open session at 6pm, and prior to the public comment period.

If you wish to express or reiterate your position on the fate of the buildings at PLC or on the possibility that the school board might take legal action against the county, your opportunity to communicate before a potential vote this evening is now-- today.
