SAVE the Palmetto Bay Market at Coral Reef Park on Sunday

SAVE the Palmetto Bay Market at Coral Reef Park on Sunday
The Issue
**** If you are lookin for a particular vendor - let me know and I can try to find them palmettobaymarket@gmail.com ****
After some legal disputes with a partnership and other matters which we really can't go into publicly at this time, The Palmetto Bay Market is closing down on Jan 11, 2026. My family has been through a lot of pain and stress over this, but we continue to show up for our vendors who have now become our friends. Their support has been overwhelming. Now we need to stand up and speak for them. Small Business owners who love their Sunday market and so does the Palmetto Bay community. **Scroll down to the bottom to see how we can help in person at Village Hall on Monday Jan 12 at 7 pm **
This petition is urge the village to keep the market open and allow the Ferenczi Family, of Ferenczi Consulting continue to run the market as they have been since its grand opening in 2024. The vendors depend on us for their livlihood, we are all part of this village ..."ONE VILLAGE - ONE TEAM" We humbly ask that we can continue to run the market without interruption.
For over a year and a half, The Ferenczi Family has been the face of the market. Ed and Barbara Ferenczi & their kids have worked with their vendors and the police making sure the market runs smoothly. The Palmetto Bay Market has been more than just a venue for commerce; it has been a cherished community hub. Through the lively hustle and bustle of Sundays in the park, many have come to appreciate not just the locally sourced goods, but the sense of camaraderie and community spirit it fosters. Vendors have become more than just merchants—they are friends and neighbors, sharing stories, laughter, and support.
However, the future of the Palmetto Bay Market now hangs in uncertainty. Unfortunately one bad egg can spoil the dozen. Our beloved market will disappear, leaving a void that no other venue can fill. The market’s closure would not only impact the vendors who rely on it for their livelihood but also diminish the communal ties it solidifies every week. We urge the Palmetto Bay community and local authorities to recognize the immense value that the vendors, the market and operators, Ferenczi Consulting, brings to our village. We urge them to communicate with Ferenczi Consulting on solutions to keep this beautiful market open.
If you want to DO MORE: Ed & I will be going to Village Hall on Monday January 12th to plead with the officials of the village to allow the market to continue. The meeting is at 7 pm on Monday Jan 12, 2026. Please come and stand in solidarity with us.
