The CFIA says they are “protecting” the poultry industry. But what about the rest of us? What about the farmers who don’t fit neatly into the big associations’ boxes? What about the families who’ve poured their lives into farms that don’t fall under poultry’s umbrella?

🔴 Killing everything in sight does not equal safety. It equals fear.

🔴 If this continues, farmers will lose trust, biodiversity will collapse, and Canada will weaken its own food security.

🔴 We risk losing discoveries from these animals that could change medicine and protect lives.

This fight is not just about 400 ostriches. It’s about fairness. It’s about science. It’s about whether truth and testing matter more than trade and policy.

If the CFIA can wipe out healthy animals without even testing them  they can do it to anyone.

We must rise together. We must say clearly: our animals, our work, our land, and our future matter. This is about protecting farmers, protecting Canada, and protecting the generations to come.

We cannot let destruction be the default.

We must choose life, fairness, and a future worth farming for.
