Supporters! We're being heard. Thank you!
Ozzy "the fixer" Gibson, Executive Director TARC (whose last position was over Metro Animal Services; and will be going back to that role), provided some residents with an explanation for the sale of the NIA Center Friday, June 6 at the Bishop's Table, a weekly meeting of about 30 community members who gather to share information.
Unfortunately, his team failed to prepare him, or he failed to research the history of the building; either way, he failed!
Here is a Facebook link to the video of his presentation, followed by a response from Shaun Spencer, a tenant of the NIA Center.

Our NEXT STEPS:
1. Continue to work toward 1,000 signatures, so keep sharing and encouraging people to sign. Paper copies available by emailing saveNIAcenter@gmail.com or stopping by My HUB Printing Services inside NIA.
2. Call Mayor Greenberg's office THIS WEEK at (502) 574-2003 and ask him to save the NIA Center and fully fund TARC with his budget surplus.
Thank you again for your support!
