Dear Friends of the Luther,

Please see the wonderful update below, put together by the Palacios Preservation Association co-chair, Margaret Doughty: 

The hearing today provided some good news! Our lawyers and the lawyers for the Findley estate are working together toward finding solutions. Ms. Jones has resigned as independent administrator for the estate. Judge Spencer is appointing a new temporary dependent administrator to work with the court. Mr. Blansfield, the lawyer for Dee Dee Debter, shared that Dee Dee would also be pleased to play that role and would not expect any funding from the estate because her goal was to honor her uncle's wish to preserve the hotel. In addition to this news, the lawyers shared that there were two offers being finalized. Both these offers are to preserve and restore the Luther as a seaside historic hotel. So that, in a nutshell, is why we are smiling today!! Thank you Luther lawyers and everyone volunteering so hard to save the Luther!
