Dear Save the Lone Tree Bluffs Friends,
You signed this petition. You know this place. Maybe you've run these trails at sunrise. Maybe you've stopped your car to watch the elk cross. Maybe you've brought your kids here to show them what wild Colorado looks like.
This place needs you voice — and we have only 8 days left.
The Hillcamp development is moving through City approval RIGHT NOW. If it passes, 343 homes will be built on the last wild bluffs in Lone Tree — on a hillside that already had a real landslide in 2024, on land that Colorado's own geological agency is still asking safety questions about, questions the developers have not answered.
You don't have to live next to it to have a voice. You just have to love this place as much as we do.
And right now, your love needs to become an official public comment in this link.
✍️ WHY YOUR COMMENT MATTERS
This is not a social media like. This is not a signature. This is the official public record that Planning Commission and City Council are required to read before they vote. Every single comment from every single person who has ever walked, run, or simply breathed on those bluffs — it all goes in that record.
They need to see most part of their community and surroundings care about this place.
🦌 WHAT YOU ARE PROTECTING
Eighty+ elk. White-tailed deer. Mountain lions. Black bears. Bobcats. Hawks, suspicion of a protected species of Owls. The last open mesa in a city that is growing fast. Once it's gone, it's gone — not for a decade, not for a generation. Forever.
A neighbor and supporter filmed these trails for the paste three years and made something beautiful for you to see: youtube.com/watch?v=If3aYhkK_34
Watch it. Then comment. That's all we ask.
⏰ DEADLINE: MAY 26, 2026 — 8 DAYS FROM NOW
