Scotland: Please contact your MSPs before Wednesday!

On Wednesday 16th September, the Scottish Parliament will debate and vote on a call for a moratorium on hyperscale data centre developments in Scotland.

If you live in Scotland, please contact your constituency and regional MSPs before Wednesday and ask them to support the moratorium.

You don't need to write a long email. Tell them, in your own words, why you believe Scotland should pause and properly assess the energy, water, environmental and community impacts of these huge developments before more are approved.

You can simply say:

I’m writing to ask you to support the call for a moratorium on hyperscale data centre developments when this issue is debated in the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 16th September. Scotland needs a clear strategic approach, and a pause would allow the impacts of developments of this scale to be properly assessed before further projects are approved.
