As part of our campaign to retain the Iain Anderson Show on BBC Radio Scotland, we submitted a Freedom of Information request to the BBC on 21 November 2025. We asked for the audience data, feedback, and research that informed the recent changes to the late-night schedule.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the BBC has 20 working days to respond to our request. The official deadline for a reply is Friday, 19 December 2025.

We have not yet received a response, but this is expected given the statutory timeline. We will follow up immediately after the deadline if no reply is received.

This FOI request is an important part of our campaign: it seeks to ensure transparency about the decision affecting the Iain Anderson Show and strengthens our collective voice in supporting Scottish music and artists.
