Dear Friend,
We want to take the time to sincerely thank you for your support to the Save the Hellfire campaign. As you know, we started this campaign to help maintain the natural integrity of this landscape and protect this unique amenity and fragile ecosystem from development. Your signature helps us get one step closer to our goal of 20,000 signatures. To date we have 17,000 between our online and paper petition.
The planning process is a long, arduous and expensive road which we must negotiate. We continue to fundraise and we will keep you informed of all developments to date. At the moment An Bord Pleanála are awaiting a Bird Survey from South Dublin County Council (closing date 30th September 2018).
We have limited tickes left for the Michael Fewer ‘Walk & Talk”, Tuesday 29th May at 7.30pm. Meeting at the Hellfire Car Park. If you would like to join in please book online at http://www.savethehellfire.com/how-to-help or call Elizabeth at 087 6358444. Weather forecast is good for what promises to be a very informative evening on the history and natural history of Montpelier Hill.
Your support encourages our continued commitment to reaching our goal.
With gratitude,
Grainne Corcoran
