So many of you have suggested we buy the block ourselves, that we are attempting just that. We’ve raised over $50,000 so far on the crowdfunding campaign and the media are now very interested in the story. What an amazing community you are! Thank you. But we’re positive! There are 4450 of you that have supported this campaign so far. If everyone donated $225 we would blast our $1m target. Of course, this is not possible for everyone. There have been several of donations of $1000 and more! These support donations less than $225, but we really need you to contribute whatever you can. There are 13 councillors that vote, led by Mayor Joanna Gash Having as many people as possible in the audience, to show support for this cause, will only help. Will council decide to buy the block?
