I have heard from some in the community that there were structural concerns due to all the water leaking the last several years.
UPDATE:
The town had a professional geo structural engineering firm do ground penetrating radar on the pool when it was empty before last season. The engineers provided a written report and stated there were no structural concerns and the pool was safe. We can request the report from the town along with the letter spelling out it was safe. Some members of the council are trying to use this as a reason not to keep the pool open but its been resolved. Once a repair takes place, they would again do the ground penetrating radar to confirm no changes from last year before opening this year.
End Result - This is an excuse and is not a valid reason.
