Hey everyone, this is Emily and Dustin Standridge! We created this petition with the intention of saving and protecting our existing skate park in Elkins, WV. At this time, the city wishes to end its existence, at Glendale Park. People impacted by this would be youths and adults alike, in town. The skate park provides a safe place for many to have fun at, outdoors. We are hoping that we can get tons of signatures and show the city how much the skate park is beloved and needed in town. Our end goal is to facilitate reworking it, bringing it back to its former glory, and adding in new ramps/attractions, with the help of local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
