Ku-ring-gai Council has rezoned the former East Roseville Bowling Club from Recreational Land to R2 (low density housing) and now plans to sell off the land to Developers.

ONCE SOLD WE WILL LOSE OUR PRECIOUS OPEN SPACE FOREVER!

The pandemic has highlighted more than ever the need for public recreational space. Being a local, we were sad to see the bowlers depart a number of years ago, but found solace in the fact that the area is still being actively used by locals of all ages. With limited local parks available, residents are enjoying this space for exercise, bringing their dogs for a play, as well as local kids spending the afternoon having a kick around.

Community consultation by Council has been almost non-existent. Many submissions have been made to Council and Local MPs over the last 2 years, however our views and concerns have fallen on deaf ears.

There is a dire need for more recreational space in our neighbourhood, and we urge you to help us in trying to preserve this green space for our local community.
