DMUSD filed their environmental document, a Mitigated Negative Declaration, and the period for citizen comment ends at 5:00 PM, tomorrow, Monday, March 30. An extraordinary amount of time and research was invested in his comments and they are substantiated by a catalogue of facts and science. He also provides a link to a draft email that allows any concerned community member to submit their own comments with minimal effort. This may be our last chance to let the district and the community hear our voices on this issue.

I truly apologize that this communication is coming at such a difficult time in our community and our world. I know personally, that my concern has been focused on my friends and family that are on the front lines with this pandemic, and my loved ones, particularly the older ones, that could be most impacted. It's a challenge to focus on the school at the moment, but the window for change is closing.
