We call on the Town of Colonie to immediately cease all efforts to remove Pokémon GO from the Crossings.

Pokémon GO is a location-based game that requires large publicly accessible spaces to be enjoyed to the fullest.  The Crossings is a very special place that is uniquely well-suited for this game.  There is no other place like it.  This park is irreplaceable and losing it would be devastating for Pokémon GO players.  It would tear apart the community we’ve built over many years and force people to play in far less safe locations.  Pokémon GO players, especially those who are town residents, have a right to enjoy the park just like everyone else.
