Justice Delayed ... is Justice Denied

Dear friends, colleagues and supporters . Thank you for your support thus far. Just to let you know, we have surpassed the 500 signature milestone. Our campaign has been slow, but determined. Authorities still ignore us, and don't wish to be transparent on this matter... 4 years is a bit long to wait for justice to be done, and punishment to be meted out to the wrongdoers. That's how long we've been requesting the authorities to take action. Nobody wants to take this matter seriously. Our last resort is the Courts. We have therefore this past week, initiated proceedings in the DURBAN HIGH COURT for an interdict /order against the various parties - in order to save the cemetery. This, as a result of the persistent failure by authorities to take ACTION, and the blatant DISREGARD for the law & our heritage by the owners and occupiers of the site, as well as a general lack of transparency on the part of all parties concerned. Here's hoping you continue to support this cause, spread the message, and put pressure on the various government authorities to take action. thank you Kuben savethecemetery@gmail.com pic: the old crematorium building on the site, which lies abandoned
