My daughter is a current student at the Carl & Norma Miller Children’s Center at Frederick Community College. Every week, she is cared for and taught by the Center's exceptional staff - teachers, carers, the director, and assistant director all contribute to her growth and learning. It is of paramount importance to us, her parents, and I know it is the same for many others, that this center remains.

The Carl & Norma Miller Children’s Center has provided vital early childhood education services for families of Frederick Community College and the wider community for 30 years now. The center plays a crucial role in the academic community, providing safe and nurturing childcare and educational services while allowing parents to further their education, knowing their children are in good hands.

Unfortunately, the future of the center is in jeopardy. Without collective effort and immediate action, this esteemed institution, cherished by so many, faces closure. We can try to save the Carl & Norma Miller Children’s Center.

We implore the decision-makers at Frederick Community College to reconsider the plans to close the Center. Please prioritize the education and care of our kids, and the peace of mind of the parents who rely on this service.
