The Parade will go ahead - but the Royal British Legion needs your support! Please donate!

Thank you for signing the petition. Due to your support and the community of Camberley it is great to be able to inform you that the parade will go ahead.
However, there is still a need to fund some of the costs, and so a community CrowdFund has been established to do so - DONATE NOW.
Any support no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the description from the Parade Committee:
Aim
Protecting Camberley’s Remembrance Parade for future generations with a respectful, community‑run day of remembrance.
The Camberley Remembrance Parade Community Committee is a group of local residents, community leaders and supporters who have come together with one shared purpose: to ensure Camberley continues to honour those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
This year marks the first Remembrance Parade organised and led entirely by our committee. When changes in local arrangements meant the future of the parade was uncertain, we stepped forward to protect this cherished tradition for our town. We are volunteers, giving our time because remembrance matters — to us, to our families, and to Camberley.
Our vision is simple: a safe, dignified and inclusive Remembrance Parade that brings our community together in gratitude. A parade where every wreath, every salute and every moment of silence reflects our promise to never forget.
To achieve this, we need support. Donations will help us cover essential costs such as road safety measures, stewarding, signage, equipment, insurance, PA System, Security and the ceremonial elements that uphold the dignity of the day. Every contribution, large or small, directly helps us deliver a respectful and meaningful event for Camberley. We need to raise around £6000 to put the event on, and any remaining funds will go toward the 2027 Parade.
We are honoured to take on this responsibility and committed to safeguarding the Remembrance Parade for generations to come.
